CAYLA, a scientific and technical know-how and an aptitude for innovation

Created in 1977, CAYLA is an independent company dedicated to the development of its scientific and technical know-how by the design of innovative products and procedures, stemming from the fermentation of microorganisms and molecular biology.

CAYLA is specialized in the optimization of fermentation procedures, and in the screening and improvement of microbial strains. This expertise enables it to provide a large choice of biological molecules obtained from a wide variety of microorganisms. CAYLA offers three categories of products: antibiotics for research use only, active ingredients for cosmetology, and molecules obtained from pathogenic bacteria for immunotherapy and immunological research.

Whether for pure research, or industrial accounts, or external laboratoires, CAYLA works rigorously to provide innovative, reliable and quality products.
